Ever since 2005, when Bearhead Publishing was first established, BhP authors have been honored to be a part of Howard Steamboat’s authors’ row. Many a reader has picked up great, treasured, autographed books at this fantastic festival. It is an art/writing festival, with many great artisans, some terrific authors, period music and great outdoor food.

The Howard Steamboat Festival will be held Saturday, May 18 and Sunday, May 19. It is located at 1101 East Market Street in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Sissy Marlyn is expected to be there both days with her most recent novels. Dr. Stuart Tobin will be on hand Saturday with his newly released book, Rash Decisions and Growth Experiences from the Best Little Warthouse in Kentucky. This is a hardback collectors’ edition with funny stories from his dermatology practice. Sandy Payne is expected to be on hand Sunday with her newly release children’s book, Find Your Magic. All proceeds from the sale of this wonderful book will go to the SarahLilyGrace fund, in honor of the three precious angels who lost their lifes in a Christmas fire in 2011, and who were the inspiration for the children’s book.
